UNICEF reports that the ongoing conflict in Yemen has forcied over two million children out of school and put 5.8 million more at risk. At Qima Foundation, we firmly believe that education is the key to rebuilding Yemen's socio-economic fabric and providing a brighter, hopeful future for its future generations.

Education is a powerful agent for change. Educational spaces offer safe and constructive environments for children and create stability for their families. They open doors to a world full of possibilities and empower young minds to dream beyond the confines of war. With the support of generous donors, we made this vision a reality.

The Tomorrow's Leaders programme aimed to partner with several of Yemen's leading bilingual schools to offer long-term scholarships to vulnerable children for a minimum of four years. Specifically, the programme looked to empower the next generation of leaders, making a lasting positive impact on their lives and the future of Yemen.

Since 2019, the programme has raised over $52,506 USD, to sponsor over 80 years of education for children from vulnerable households, particularly at risk due to the pressures of war. All funds collected went towards covering the annual tuition fees, school uniforms, books and stationery, as well as daily food and transport expenses to and from the school.
